I don’t see barrow as good enough to finish top 3. Sammut ain’t the player he was. They have a few decent players but won’t be consistent enough to finish top 3

I’m just going off current form really

i would love to see widnes 3rd but I think with craven out for 6 weeks we will lose that attacking edge

Lyons and Smith are doing fine and you think Barrow will go all season without injuries? Pascal is realistic and Barrow won't come 3rd. Widnes top 3 and get passionate like the mad Frenchman. You need to bang a few baguettes and get a good leg over. 🥖🥖🥖😂💪👍

A lot of water to go under the bridge yet, much too early to see just where we might be.

Concentrate on each game and succeed and we'll be fine!

Barrow will be dark horses for the play-offs but can't see them finishing third. They've won 3 out of 3 but only played Workington, Newcastle and Sheffield (two at home as well).

Prediction (bias?) caps on here, so..........

Where do you reckon you'll be in the Championship come the play-offs?

Personally, I can't see past Fev and Leythers being the top two, but after that it seems wide open.

'Fax should be there or thereabouts too, and (if I was pushed) I'd predict third for them, with Kear's Crew and / or you mob making up the top four.

York? Newcastle?

Over to you mes amis!

I posed this before a ball was kicked, so what do you think now?

I looks (to me anyway) even more certain that either Fev or Leythers, will have the likes of Pies and Saints on their fixture list next term, but..........

With 'em both seemingly throwing everything at promotion, one of either Campbell, or Beaumont, will be left with serious egg on their face come season's end, but........

What are the realistic prospects for you mob with ten games gone? Personally, I'd thought you'd have been better than W4, L6, but.......

Over to you again!

Spelly.

Top 6 is still the aim and if we can get a decent coach in quickly and a few injured players back then we can still achieve this, however this is a big but at the moment.

Having watched Leigh at our place and the mauling Fev gave us I reckon Fev will finish top and hopefully they will go up.

On paper, we have Leigh away and Featherstone at home that you would say we wouldn't win.

That still leaves 15 games where we, on paper, should be able to compete.

However our woeful attack allied to a real lack of confidence and the unknown factor of who it is and when the head coach comes in will be decisive.

I think 8-10th atm. Higher very possible with good coaching and an improvement in structure and confidence.

I'll stick with 7th which looks optimistic now.

I agree with CJ91 that an 8-10 finish is best we can expect, unless there is a massive improvement in performance.

What a disappointment this season has turned out to be, but it is Widnes I suppose.

The Widnes Board really need to give some serious thought to what needs to be done to encourage fans to bother to turn up for the Whitehaven game and the rest of the season. For a start, they could give refunds to those supporters who followed the team to Featherstone on Sunday.
