Summer Bash

The Summer Bash is back and at Leeds, July 30-31st. We play the second day against Barrow, not too bad for us, but I suppose the big game is on the Sat,  Featherstone v Leigh.
We must have a good chance of a win there.👍👍

Rather play Barrow than Leigh; could make a difference having an extra game there.

It has worked out as well as it could for us. I still think it is totally wrong to have this extra game. Teams should play each other home & away & that is it. However if we must have a summer bash the game should be one of the 2 fixtures. Still not entirely fair as 1 side will play 1 away &  1 at a neutral venue whereas the other a home & neutral tie but still better than the current set up. On the fixtures for this year  there will be hardly a y spectators there on the Sunday. One of the Leigh or Bradford games should be moved to the Sunday. It is shocking from a marketing perspective.

Will prob have a ride over for the Saturday games, but not on the Sunday, as we're at Mazeyville!

Don't think Leeds can offer a walk on the prom like Blackpool can though! 🤣

Spelly.

How boring, but as said, probably best for us in regards to the league.

Dont see the point in the Summer Bash, especially in Leeds. Waste of time

I’m disappointed we are the first game of the Sunday in the championship but I guess that’s how far we’ve fallen in recent times

A joke of a destination for the bash could not think of a worst place, wire would have been ideal.

Sunday's attendance figure will be pitiful.

Why put all of the divisions big hitters on the same day?

Should be a nice 2 points for us, hopefully we're flying high and take a good following.

I’m happy enough with  it. We should win and some of our likely rivals for playoff spots will drop points. Bit of a shame we don’t get either Fev v Leigh or Fax v Bradford on the same day but the other two Sunday games could well be decent contests.
