@mick-george no I live in the states so I can’t make it to games in person, I do contribute to the club in merchandise sales as I get all my family’s birthday/Christmas presents from the online store. I also donated when the club was in jeopardy a few years ago.
I listen to the games online on radio merseyside and purchase games when available. I used to subscribe to widnes tv but with the lack of commentary I didn’t renew.
People ask the club for entertainment, they're trying something. People ask for a better social media presence, they've delivered. Most of what people have said we've lacked, the club has tried. The area we lack in real investment in the team but that's a general issue in RL aside from the top teams.

Exactly the same fans who complain about the team don't support extra fund events. Excellent idea fans zone and will be cold draught for the complainers too. 😂 Mick needs some good sex, and I bet he go a Pinkies if was in the fans zone. Some fit women to look at he needs. 😂🥖🥖

Every discussion we have on this ultimately ends up with investment in the team. There isn't enough, we know that. But where is it going to come from? We get 3k fans a week. We're a part-time team, apart from a couple of blokes who assist with the community aspect of things. Unless someone walks in with money, we're a mid-Championship team forever. Because there'll always be a SL drop-out or a bank-rolled FT Championship team to beat us. Could we do better on the pitch, probably yeah but not much. Could we put a run together and turn ourselves into an established SL club, no chance in my opinion. It's the hope and the ambition that kills you. And our history. But where do people really see the change coming from? RL attracts next to no interest or money outside of a few elite operations, we're not at that table.

Wakefield will struggle if go down as got under 4k fans against Hull FC and fan base will be depleted further in the Championship with no away support. Businesses pulling out of funding already and need a new team who want part time. Won't surprise me if they go bust and why can't one day an investor come to Widnes? I would rather the club do a little extra in fund raising even if made us competitive in the top 4 every season. At least keeps fans coming the games with a winning team. I would rather club had ambition of top 4 every season than 8th to 10th in the league. Teams will go bust once benefactor leaves, and that is why I feel a collation of business people involved in the club rather than a sole benefactor. So for me a fan zone for even a little extra revenue is better than nothing.
What do we do just give up and think of relegation to League 1 or have some drive and ambtion. Well in my opinion I feel in Sport we should always go for it and do the best with the resources got at the club. Let's all have a positive mindset than a negative one, which just gets you relegated and a piss poor club. Anyway off to Pinkies to spend my hard earned cash after buying the Widnes top. 😂🥖🥖👌💪

The home games now have excellent commentary from Steve Roberts and he’s hoping to do this for away games soon. Worth while getting again👍👍

Top 4 is very realistic as we are one of the best supported clubs in the league mate. Extra funds raised like a fan zone, revenue from beer, pop, food will only put is in a good position to get better players.
Leigh, Huddersfield, Salford and a few teams lucky to have a benefactor. But hey might happen to us one day, but I rather us be competitive as possible by having ideas, and working as a team all round. Don't think any of us want 8th to 10th every season mate. 👍🥖🥖🥖👌
I have a brilliant idea for some entertainment in the fans zone. Any arguments in here we should set up a boxing ring and get some windmilling done to settle the disagreements. Sunny can take on Pascal and Mick George can fight for the bowler. So I be happy for a windmill with Mick George all in a good sporting way. 😂😂👍🥖🥖🥖 If I lose I hit you with my baguettes 💪
