Eckersley is back on a further month loan. He certainly did ok in his first 2 games so for me this is good news. Probably means Kear is happy with Jack at 7 until Gilmore returns.
Brilliant news a top player.
Good to see we have him for a further month. Might be hard for Fleming or Edge, or even Owens, however he is class.
Fleming should be left out,
Lyons in the halves with Owens at FB and Edge and Eckersley in the centres but i won't hold my breath, got a feeling that Edge will miss out even though he has been one of our best players so far this season.
Don’t know what’s happened to Fleming he’s gone right off the boil… shadow of what he did last season.

Agree with your comments and I have a feeling he will leave Edge out. Hope we are wrong as I would prefer Edge over Fleming. Eckersley oozes class at this level and I think will be a regular at Wigan soon. Hopefully we can keep him for the season rather than a month.
Think it would be harsh to drop edge, most consistent back this year, eckersley will deffo start, the rest depends on whether kear sticks with Lyons who played ok last week
The backs look strong but what has happened to Walker, Field, Grady and Andrew Dixon to not be in the squad?
Dixon and Grady both played last week so you would assume they have picked up injuries. Wilde and Davies promoted from the bench to start in the 2nd row. The 2 players in for me would be Hatton as a bench prop and then Eckersley centre with flemming on the bench. I would go with a bench of Lawton, Hatton, Brown and then Flemming. The other option would be Tilleke over Flemning.
Miller bicep injury, was an 8 week injury initially but no further updates so his return is overdue.
Bent ACL, out for the season.
Craven torn calf, no official updates but some people have said out for the season?
Walker picked up a head knock a couple of weeks ago.
Field failed a late fitness test last week and missing this week.
Grady and Dixon?
On the verge of three quarters sat on the bench to make up the numbers territory. Not good. Very light on prop options and second row stretched. Ow as well. Hopefully we can scrape a win.
Looking at our squad and a warm day tomorrow. So probably best to use our speed with our backs and Lawton offloading. Tire the big players out on the wide pitch.
Watching London, they are not like the York sides full of big fellas so think we ok with a lighter pack , given the weather and our pitch it should be a really fast game - so the likes of Wilde and Jones could make some great yards
half backs here could be the key
