I know we have to beat Oldham first, but if we do, which one do we play?
Lets assume Donny beat Barrow, its odds on, they are at home and beat them 72 nil last week.
By beating 3rd placed Oldham we took their spot, so had the easier of the 2 qualifying games away to Newcastle while Donny from a 4th place finish had to face London. That advantage carries over to next week as well with a home tie vs Oldham.
My question is, after that if we beat Oldham, are we still seeded 3rd and hence play 2nd placed Newcastle away again. Or because Doncaster finished 1 place above us in 4th, does the 3rd seeding end meaning we have to play London away to qualify for the GF?

Widnes can’t have taken third spot when they beat Oldham or they would have been above Doncaster and therefore had to play London yesterday as the highest ranked team.
i have asked the RFL for clarity on where Oldham are in terms of ranking but the only options are; the league positions still count as the rank (which most people seem to think); or if its

If we beat Oldham we'll be away to London as the lowest ranked semi-finalist plays the highest ranked one, (presuming Donny beat Barrow again), then it would play Newcastle/Doncaster away in the final.

That would be a small following to London for the final. Well done Newcastle taking York reserves and loans with easier fixtures all year. This in a tin pot Farmers field for games. 😂😂🙈 It is not Newcastles fault but the RFL making a mockery of the Championship. Look at us against Sheffield playing loans from Super League? We gave them a game because they are fulltime with top conditioners and fitter with quicker line speed. Unlike part time players who work in a office or on a building site after the games etc. Personally I look at this Oldham game just for more income for the club and if we did win we would get smashed against London. So it wont be the end of the world if lose.
A couple of the clubs have now been contacted by the RFL to clarify what happens after this round and the rankings of the remaining clubs as;
1 London
2 Newcastle
3 Doncaster
4 Widnes
5 Oldham
6 Barrow
So if Doncaster win they are definitely going to Newcastle, if Barrow win they are definitely going to London.
The winner of Widnes v Oldham will play the other (ie away at London if Doncaster win, away at Newcastle if Barrow in)
