Watching York beat Bradford last night playing mainly down the middle, if we can get farnworth and Lawton back along with walker and amour I reckon we could win that one.
brown at interchange with fozard and keep Davies and Grady in.
York were OK.. Bradford were awful. Think they had something like 9 1st tackle knock ons that allowed York the field position to drive it up the middle against a side that were tiring doing alot of defending inside their own 20.
They looked dangerous when they ran the ball left so one to watch out for.
Same squad as last week except Lawton in for JJ. We could have done with Farnworth back but still a fairly strong squad. Hopefully good enough for a win.
Any news on how long Farnworth is out for?
Same starting line up I would expect, Lawton on bench

Nobody has asked the question even in interviews to Kear. We all know Gilmore out for at least 3 months, but Farnworth is also a miss as a player. Last year we would worry because Levy was permanently injured on our books and Grady working every weekend. Lost Dupree early on to Salford, so we was stuck for players.

Yes agree but at least we are not naming them in the 21, so Lawton in for Wilde for me only change in 17
I do not know anything about Farnworth but on past experience we know he will miss 40% to 50% of games due to injury. We only have 5 props when all fit & its not unusual to get 2 props injured at the same time so we do need another prop to make 6 props in total. Lawton has played there but is more effective in the second row. We also know another good scrum half is required to cover Gilmore's loss. IMO a scrum half is the more urgent need. I am not taking anything away from Lyons but if either he or Craven get injured we will really struggle whereas if another prop gets injured we can use stop gaps from other forward positions for half an hour or so.
yes fair enough about a half back, but have not got 6 props now - farnworth, amour, walker,Hatton, field and tillekeI do not know anything about Farnworth but on past experience we know he will miss 40% to 50% of games due to injury. Yeah that is 6 props with one injured in Farnworth. Tilleke has not played yet so for me we are short at half back at the moment. Anyway does anyone know how long Farnworth is out for as nobody answered?
@ditton-donkey Joe Mellor maybe a player to keep an eye on it looks like he may be a squad player for Leigh this season,Saying that after watching O’Brien last night i cant understand him not getting a start in front of him.
Pascal saw Gilly today near Costa and looks like got a spring in his step. Hopefully not too bad. 🥖🥖🥖👌
Mellor would be great but looking at Leigh’s thin squad I doubt if they would risk it
