Bit soft defensively here.

Be good for JK to see who is up to it and who isn't though.

Game over.

Half-Backs out of commission.

Some eccentric refereeing.

They're a one man side. Without Sammut they'd struggle. He's still got that X Factor.

That game was there for the taking, some really silly decisions allowed them to look better that what they were.

@martin listening on radio,it sounded like we helped beat ourselves with some sloppy errors and poor decisions.

@alanc we are on their line and Brown pushes their player. Free kick, down to our end and they score!!!! One of many…

@martin wasn't Brown was Johnson but I agree that was the game breaker . Stack gave him a facial Johnson reacted. He was in danger of doing the same at Batley last week until Smith got a hold of him. Gutted we lost but it wasn't a flogging as it would have been a couple of months ago. ⚪🏁⚫

I mean in fairness we lost 44-4 there about 7/8 weeks ago so not as bad as that, but we will need to win games like that next year more often.

Be interesting to see who plays half back if both Smith and Craven are injured v Featherstone as I think the signing deadline has passed: Lyons and Owens maybe?

I thought that was a good game, fozzard try was not so got away with that

game changer Johnson giving penalty away on their 10 on second tackle

then Lyons pass to a barrow player cemented it

need to sign up the 3 fs Fleming, fozzard and farnworth

tilleke went well, worth another year, doro please

JK plays Fozz at half back for Wales so maby him and Lyons with Brown at 9?? We badly need some forwards who can break the line. Defo missed Lawton today. ⚫🏁⚪

We would have got smashed in this game if Finnigan was still in charge. I think Kear knows already were we need strengthing. Need a few big classy Second rowers, 1 more prop of quality , centre and winger. If Johnstone is coming we have two decent hookers. Re sign Farnworth, Doro and Flemming. Smith has been okay but ii feel a quality playmaker required. Onwards and upwards 🥖🥖🥖👍

Fozard’s been a massive disappointment for me. Too many times he goes from dummy half and ends up nowhere.

Agree with above, game changer was Johnson’s daft penalty, he nearly did the same last week. Their tries either side of half time didn’t help either.

We need a bit of class, ex factor adding the squad. All of them are hard working and put a shift in, but not sure we’ve got a single player who can change the game in an instant.

Plenty of evidence there to show both how much we have improved under Kear and how much work we still have to do to become genuine challengers at this level. I think Fozard would benefit from having a good second hooker to spell him with, hopefully the Jordan Johnstone rumour is correct.
