@wrlfcefc1989 I really don’t want to get into a petty argument with you, or resort to childish insults.
I would suggest you read my previous posts, if you wish to comment on them, or are you only interested in posts that you agree with.
As for your comments about Kear and Finney, if you are so sure about your so called facts about the recruitment process or Kear’s motives for coming here, why don’t you raise them with Directors, with your evidence, or at a fans’ forum. I guess John Kear would be happy to give you a robust response. Thought not!
To get back to the post, I reckon we will finish in a play-off position in 2023.

Frankie, is your only come back calling a bit of banter, childish insults? You need to get out and live a bit mate.
Do you really think they would give an honest answer to questions like that? If you do think that then you're a very naive person. I take it you still believe in Santa!
But if we don't get that play off finish, who is to blame Frank? If we do get it, I will buy a bottle of Rola cola to celebrate.
- @farnworth-viking what money did finney put into the club? And if that is the case he has as much reason to be ceo as you or I considering I put my hand in my pocket numerous times of the campaign to save the club. We have a board what do we actually need him as CEO for I really don’t see what he brings to the table apart from a full and dismal interview every now and then
I don’t know wether Finney is any good or not, I’ve not seen any evidence as to how bad he is, just lots of unsubstantiated claims on here.
But what I was pointing out was, when he took over as CEO, we were in administration and didn’t have many people to choose from. Unless you know of someone who could have done it instead of him, at that moment in time.
@farnworth-viking I’d say literary anyone even that old codger Rolty could’ve had ago. From the current board one of them could’ve taken over considering it’s a part time club I can’t see why we need a full-time CEO it’s not like he’s winning lucrative contracts or big deals for the club with anyone, just signing up his little yes man squad.
@wello1 Put yourself forward for the role - as you say “literary (sic) anyone” can do it. 😉
@royston-vasey if finny hands his resignation in then I’d be more then happy to put my name forward. However don’t think the board would be that interested because I don’t have a lot of mates to sign up 😕
Yes,we are. 😂
Reading this post through now and this could have been any year out of the last few. Sad really, what will be different next year? Should we expect it to be different?
@widnes77 next year could be a relegation dog fight.
This year was a complete disaster again… but let’s again have some optimism and dreams about next season who knows we might just make the play offs🫣😂
