After a bad start, we played really well. I thought Taylor played really well, if he can do that against better opposition, he’ll be favourite for a regular start. Hayes also played well and he got good distance on his kicks. Hope we can keep him for a few months., rather than 2 matches. Connell played really well as well and was unlucky not to get 4 tries.
We should win the next 5 matches and be on a 7 match winning streak before we play Doncaster again.
@farnworth-viking steady on FV. Let’s take it one week at a time shall we 😅
Great to see some positive posts
onwards and upwards
Hard to pick a MOM as they were all good. The key point was that we didn't miss Abdull, and that was largely down to Leon Hayes who was brilliant.
It was interesting to see how Edge and Connell switched roles at half time. Maybe because Nathan had taken a knock? Anyway both excelled in their roles, Edgy running rampant coming out of deep and Nathan C showing a turn of speed and elusiveness we haven't seen in a Widnes winger for many years.
I thought hall had a really good game, doing work which wasn’t seen
mcwhirter as well
but they appeared to have a great team spirit which is to be applauded

When Hall was with us, he always put a shift in, with his work rate never in doubt.
Spelly.
Clubs just won .. apparently its positivity or nothing ...it would seem that someone within power on the forum are removing posts that oddly weren't even critical but maybe see it as a potential jump on and I guess maintain the weekend status quo ....so I apologise for my "colemans post match " topic that suggested new faces were imminent(which was stated on x) and hoped that a prop would be one ......so I take it back ....Widnes is brilliant...board is brilliant...players are brilliant...squad is brilliant..everything associated with Widnes is brilliant....James or mike or whoever are brilliant.......come on guys it's a fans forum...removing posts you don't like is very poor form especially when it wasn't in anyway critical.......someone's been watching Keir starmer too much
Good win on Sunday and nice to post some points on the score board. Does anyone know whats happened to chapelhow?
@vikingfox71 I wouldn't mind but it wasn't in any way critical 😂 maybe it could have stoked something up who knows ... certainly wasn't meant to was just referencing the comments in the interview....
@cumbria-viking ssssh big brother is watching !! 👀 as Starmer says " I wasn't informed " lol 😂
@vikingfox71 all things considered probably the right decision... especially if we keep hold of Hayes for that initial month
