Heard today that abdull has left the club and signed with a Yorkshire based club....could be why we have brought a half back in

Let's hope it's either Dewsbury or Halifax, our next 2 opponents.

Paulie xx

Seemed happy in the photo posted yesterday with his player of the month award for February!

Be a shame if he was to go but part of the game and would be hopeful of keeping hayes for a run of games. it’s all just speculation at the moment anyway

So if abdull goes because of defensive frailties why would you sign a 5ft 6 half you will constantly be targeted it makes no sense lol 😂

oh and Oldham got Luke Thomas on loan from wire coz no props available for us 🤷‍♂️😂

@vikingfox71 Gregory could tackle ok. Part 1 of the rumour has now been confirmed with Hayes loan signing. We will have to see if part 2 is also correct.

And if it is true we have lost maizen abdull Hughes and bibby since the start of the season and replaced with Leon hayes not really moving in right direction

@vikingfox71 We must see more players depart mid season than any other club. I would be interested to see the stats over the last 3-4 seasons.

The worry with the Hayes signing is he's from Warrington. The players we have signed on loan from them over the last 2 seasons have usually only lasted a game or 2.

Yes and the lad has had injuries in past as well unfortunately for him so you lose (apparently) your big signing for the season and get a loan with recall from wire who's played maybe 20 sl games

I don't know any salesman who can spin that into a positive

Gonna take a stab at ....

Hayes comes in on loan ..

Abdull leaves..

Hayes plays one game and leaves

Gilmore and Lyons dross for remainder of season ...

We go to likes of Rochdale with front row of jack Owens and nick gregson because the gaffer is still adamant we don't need a middle when the rest will be injured 😂...."BUT WE'RE LOOKING" .....like Stevie wonder in an escape room

Greg was a brilliant footballer but couldn’t tackle - anybody taller than him (most players) and he jumped up to tackle them. He usually had both feet off the floor and was off balance. That said, he’d be in the ‘best team’ for us in the 60 years since I started watching.
