Owl is right Vikingnomad, Brand came through our academy system. He tends to play centre or wing. I have no idea how accurate this story is, but we do seem to have a good relationship with Leigh so there might be something in it.

Connell and Banditt are out for 12 days to comply with the concussion protocol, so they miss Workington and Sheffield, as I think the 12 days starts the day after the game which was 17th and therefore they become available on 29th.

I would probably go along with that but i think Jack Owens will go Fullback and Taylor centre or Max Roberts. Prefer to keep Jack Owens away from full back personally, and it does look like finally Coleman realises Lyons is not good enough.
I think that’s the least enthused a crowd has ever been at Widnes. A complete non event of a game. As far too many have been this season.

Totally agree, great win and all but Workington should not be in the Championship, one of the slowest semi pro teams I have ever seen. If it was a boxing match the ref would have stepped in and stopped it!
This cannot be repeated next season as its just not worth £24 for a no contest. Not the clubs fault, but the Championship last year was a good competition, such a shame.
