Owl is right Vikingnomad, Brand came through our academy system. He tends to play centre or wing. I have no idea how accurate this story is, but we do seem to have a good relationship with Leigh so there might be something in it.

Connell and Banditt are out for 12 days to comply with the concussion protocol, so they miss Workington and Sheffield, as I think the 12 days starts the day after the game which was 17th and therefore they become available on 29th.
Essentially, Fozard and Hall are still being assessed.
Edge and Flemming are out for the season now, hence the potential chat about Brand.
In better news McWhirter will be fit for the Workington game and Bent will be back in mid September.
Owens should be back after his ban, no word on Lyons so you would assume he is over his injury, Wilde wasn't picked against Halifax but he could be back, Sergent should be available, no idea on Connolly.
