seen this game on sky sports mix in the early hours of friday morning so recorded it and just watched it back. what a great game against a lot of the future young leeds stars. the way we played was a mix of early sl and late 80;s style throwing the ball out wide. was a great watch and if you spot it on sky, well worth a viewing.
4 tries from adam hughes for m.o.m
kelly in charge, spuce - MCcurrie - relf - stone - carter - mills - hughes - demetriou - eaton - weston - and so on.
was a good watch with nothing decent on tv.

Got that on DVD, cracking game.
I think 1 of the Leeds try scorers that day was a very young Danny McGuire.
Saw that not too long back; didn't mind the Saturday teatime SL games, much preferred them to Thursday Nights.
Looking back, it worked out well for us that we got promoted at the end of July rather than say October like it would be now...
What a contrast.Great football and a great, noisy crowd.'Only' 5600 in attendance but it was live on TV on a Saturday evening. We would settle for half that gate now.
That era had a great atmosphere. Even in 2005 we had pretty decent crowds.
I think the stuffing has been knocked out of people because of the continual disappointments in the last few years.
