Warrington Announce Dual Registration With London Broncos

Perhaps this does not bode well for us? Bardsley Rowe is already there & now 2 other players have gone there. Johnstone a winger who was in our squad at Toulouse is one.

I know we do not need wing cover at the moment but we would like Wood the prop & their full back  who won the game at Doncaster fairly regular. I hope we have an agreement with Wire that we are first in line for those two in particular. Thoughts?

Seems strange to have Dusl Reg agreement with 2 clubs in the same division, I presume it must be allowed, but how many spare players have warrington got? Do t they have a academy/ under 21 side as well?

I see Doolan has finished his trial with Widnes now as well.

Yeah he got an injury for Huddersfield and is out for a while. 😂🙈 Well personally I think Joe Lyons is good as a spare hooker for Foz. We have 22k now to spend from WVIPS and I would use it wisely now. Save it for anymore injuries. I think we can manage at the moment because Brett Bailey is back now getting game time at Saints. Gregson will be back in a few more weeks and unfortunately Hall and JJ out long term.

Personally I have never liked dual registration, but I feel we are stuck with it and need to utilise well like other clubs.

The truth is that the loan system saves the RFL and clubs organising and financing the Reserve League properly, and it also hands over some coaching responsibilities. All saving the SL clubs cash!!!!

Listening to McManus the other night and it sounds like there are many SL clubs in really bad financial situations, yet they still spend money that they haven't got!

At a guess, the clubs lending players will look at the coaching set up before they let players go. A bad re-location could ruin a youngster.
