Yeah definitely early days Sunny, and unfortunately players get injured and an opportunity arises to perform. Then up to them to keep a place. I like that Tom Whitehead and a shame Green is not in the squad too. We are virtually full strength without Langtree and Owens. I personally don't rate Owens anymore even at this level. 🥖👌
Would swap Fleming with Roberts.

I honestly believe there should be a back on the bench, how many times have we had to play a second row in the centre due to injuries in the game, only to see him carved up

@ditton-donkey We are lightweight enough without having a centre on the bench if this happens it shows how weak of a squad we have, No team would put a centre on the bench unless they did not have a reserve hooker.
@prisoner the point I am making is that the reliance on 4 forwards on the bench often comes unstuck - many times we have had to put a second row into the backs and from a set scrum they are on a one to one with a centre who cuts them in half

Prisoner's mind is fixed, made up, blinkered - no matter the logic of a back on the bench, he just won't accept it!
Indeed, due to injuries didn't Roberts play once in the second row last season? Made a decent fist of it if I remember correctly.
