@pauliewalnuts my thoughts exactly Ryan is a strong runner always makes a solid 10-15 meters and little half brakes decent in defence and all round reliable that butt is nowhere near as good as him wrong positioning and lacks any real threat on the wing extremely lightweight. Such a shame the wage we pay him could be invested elsewhere

The Twitter admin never stopped mentioning “Butty” throughout their match day comms.

Have the club got them from Swinton too?

I think one of the most worrying aspects of the game was the fact that the players were actually trying !!! It wasn't a lack of effort it's a lack of skill level and creativity and general rugby knowledge to be fair Roberts Johnstone fozard wilde all tackled themselves to a standstill but you can't tackle bigger packs for 60 mins as bad as we were I thought effort and application was there we just aren't very good and will probably go down sad times

whoever they are they clearly just cut and paste the match report and change the odd words

todays report had us lining up against Warrington Wolves until that error was pointed out

the latest in a long list of amateurish errors by them

More worrying is that Coleman thinks the players he brought from Swinton are of a high calibre.

The players you took from us are (or were at the Lions) of middle tier quality, no better than that, and in my (biased?) opinion, were anonymous yesterday. We were fired up from the opening whistle because of the fact that a number of ex-Lions were in the opposition, which is huge credit to Alan Kilshaw.

We also lost Louis Brogan to Leythers, but it was obvious that soon after joining us, he had "that bit of summat" so it was no surprise at all to us, that he's now a full-time footballer. He was there watching yesterday, and welcomed by the Swinton faithful.

Spelly.
