Great Widnes defence and edge and ince have been outstanding running the ball back

lyons defence good, unfortunate mistake from roby

tom is kicking well, especially the try for lyons
fozzard and Wilde really good

commentary interesting - kear bigging up doro who was put right on his arse on his first carry, other commentator confused by the red lines !

Ht 6-8. Happy but very surprised as the amount of field space we have had was minimal. They are making too many yards while we make few from our line, got to spread it out as well instead of one man drives

@ditton-donkey No, look again,I  only put 2  noughts down not 3!

A few latecomers, there’s about a 1,000 ( A Thousand 🙄) here now.

And abou 10-20 Widnes fans!!

should have gone to spec savers !

Bent Haler doing his best to give Brat’fud the advantage. Was never a sin bin for Roby!

Brilliant win that. A balanced team selection and the four subs did a great job. Thought Johnstone made a big difference coming on fresh to control the game for the last 20 minutes. Murray the sort of prop we've been crying out for and did decent minutes.

Murray good addition and with Gilmore controlling the game, a great all round performance. Never saw this coming today, but have got to give credit to the team and Coleman. Don’t you just love rugby league and Widnes!

Tell you what that League 1 team didn’t do too bad against a championship team did they.

Might be in for promotion to the championship if players can play like that every week!

Me too, well above expectations, outplayed Bradford at their own game, great defence, great kicking and no stupid offloads

mom - very difficult, Gilmore, edge, Wilde, and more

home game would be great - York acorn would do for me !
otherwise might as well take on the dire

Great win, the defence was excellent. Fleming and Roby were unlucky with the sinbins in my opinion, but the others really stood up whilst they were off the pitch. Edge and Ince were great, and Edge so deserved that try at the end. Really impressed with Lloyd, Lyons and Murray. Walker was excellent, and other than giving a penalty away Field had a good game. As was said earlier Fozard and Johnstone were great, but for me, player of the match was Gilmore.

I noticed Murray was quick on to the pitch at half time to greet the lads as they came off. This is a very together squad.

I still don't like playing Max Roberts at prop, but that was an impressive win.

What offence was he actually binned for? Yes he tackled him in the air, but I saw nothing more.

Ashamed to admit that I didn't go to the game because Odsal is a seriously crap stadium and I thought we would lose on that sub-standard pitch So hats off to those who travelled.

On tele it looked a really splendid performance off the whole team, and that win must boost their confidence and team spirit no end.

Hoping for a home tie in the next round with plenty of supporters to urge the team on.

Well I did not see that coming. Our defence was terriffic all game & for once we did not tire. It must have taken a lot out of us but no game for 2 weeks so hopefully will recover energy. Gilmore, Johnstone, Fozard, Edge,  Ince, & Murray outstanding. The rest played well too. I thought Lyons in defence was good too & he took his try well.

Congratulations to coaches, board & players on an excellent win.
