Feel free to leave your questions for the Club in this thread, and @mikeparsons and myself will endeavour to get you answers, and explanations. Mike & James may even discuss the question on their weekly Podcast, for the wider audience.

1. Just how realistic are the Club's chances of promotion to SL in 2026, bearing in mind that I read somewhere that the Club think we will finish 16th in the IMG rating and probably will finish 9th/10th in the league this year?
2. On the basis that they say they are applying for a place in SL this year, is this in hope rather then expectation? If they think they have a realistic chance, what plans are in place to ensure we are able to compete in SL, bearing in mind the rumour that the two additional Clubs will not be getting any additional central funding?
3. Accepting that we have been hit hard by injuries this season (just like other Clubs}, do the Club think the present squad is big enough and good enough to challenge for at least a play-off position in the Championship in 2026? If not, what are they doing about it?
If there is no additional funding for newly promoted clubs then its a promotion that we don't need. I doubt that any Championship club would be mug enough to take it.
If anything clubs should look at us and realise what it can entail.
Build the club first from the bottom up.
When are the 2001 Northern ford anniversary shirts being delivered?
The automated email i get when ordering from the online store still promotes 2022 shirts. Can this be updated?
Will the club be looking to improve its overall advertising of the Vikings across social media and the town? Because right now it’s pretty poor. There’s plenty of new properties and residents coming into and around Widnes so will the club be looking at this? Maybe offering family bundles on tickets and maybe even discounts for certain games if you show your ticket from the last home game abit like they did with Warrington.

The delay is with Ellgren, and are expected by the end of August. Could be earlier, could be later. Hopefully the former.
Hope this helps
There are quite a few things that need upgrading/removing on the website, we will keep pointing them out to the Media guys to upgrade.

There are initiatives in place to help get more 'bums on seats'. Certain pubs will be putting up fixture lists with a QR code to scan, enabling the purchasing of tickets without having to come to the stadium to buy. QR code info can determine the areas of the Town where our fanbase is stronger, and then the 'weaker' areas can be targeted.
The matrix signs on certain roads (Kingsway is one) can not be used to advertise games, as they are property of the Highways Agency, but the Club have arranged with the help of the council, to put on 'Expect Heavy Traffic on (date) due to WV v Opp' I don't pass any, personally, so don't know if it has happened as of yet.
Any more news regarding this will be posted in due course.

@pauliewalnuts Perfect, thank you for getting an update so quickly on this
Looking at the title of this posting, WIDNES VOICE, and it reminded me of Dougie Laughton's name for our crowd!
The 'Widnes Whisper'.
Typical Dougie!!
I have not always agreed with yourself Paulie and Kev Buck too on twitter, but overall I agree you are all doing a fantastic job and a massive respect from me. Shame i live so far away, but i do my part buying merchandise, WVIPS and home games when i can mate. I sent you a Private message on an idea. 👍

Saw it, and will put it to the powers that be.

Paulie how about doing a Junior schools rugby league competition in Halton with a league table and Grand Final played at the Widnes stadium on a game day. Possibly the same for the High schools. Might be difficult for 4 Primary school finals and 5 Secondary school finals. Possibly start in the morning and make it an all day event. This will get schools interested in rugby.
Will the club be getting the LinkedIn page up and running again so companies can share posts about sponsorship and the business club now that we have 50 companies on board.
Can we update the kit sponsors interview board used to interview Allan after home games to reflect the 2025 sponsors.
Can we get rid of the banner near Tesco petrol station showing Kyle Amor? Or at least get it updated showing players we currently have.

There are similar outdated images on the Club website. I will be popping in the Club tomorrow and will be pointing them out to the Media Dept. I take it you mean the one on the wall as you approach the Tesco turn off, on the by-pass?
