We have been barking for a quality halfback for years as Lyons not good enough. Same old Widnes not buying big forwards and also lacking a strike centre. The squad is garbage and the buck stops with Hamilton and hiring a cheap coach. Don't be surprised if fan base goes right down and we go bust again. Well it is looking like a complete disaster and i would not be surprised if this bloke Hamilton gets us relegated. Poor recruitment and the season has only just started and our props Reilly, Kirk, Tilleke and Brooks are injured or not wanted. The attendances will fall and no chance of pushing for the playoffs. Where is the investors and ambition from the club. I feel we are not looking and do not be surprised if we go under because my confidence has gone. Garbage Recruitment, garbage coach and garbage ambition.

May be a very insular comment but am slightly concerned we have someone who flitted between the 2nd and 3rd tier with Oldham and a new chairman (who to be fair has put the money in to help fund the club) happily advertising being a Wigan Season Ticket holder running the club.

I flagged Hamiltons previous poor record as an RL administrator on here when he joined the club. Took a bit of flak for that , and when he said there would be no cuts to the playing budget, I took a bit of flak for questioning that too.
If there is any ambition left inside our club, he shouldn't be anywhere near it.
It is, a sad time being a Widnes fan, and unless Hamilton leaves or finds good investors I am not happy with him. Oldham fans have thrived since he left there club, and we take him on after all the crunchie he did with, Oldham? He was rude with our players and done nothing to note for me to accept him.
