It could have been a lot worse. A 14 point defeat though just the same. We have to realise now we are in a relegation fight.We will probably drop to 8th tomorrow with London going above us. We have got to get some big props & a half back now. It is no use keep getting young kids in.

An improvement today after the first 20 mins play like that every week and will be in a much better place. Still some stupid mistakes and lazy defenders costing us the game! Hopefully new coach can sort this out, onwards and upwards from here I think as players shown spirit. Am first to slag the lads off but today they was a much better team.
Now we need to start winning our home games and a new coach soon. Positive news on the Widnes performance, but I hope new coach demands a number 6 and 2 props of size.

We were never in anything approaching a winning position but what I liked about the performance was players playing without fear and a much more attacking approach which was good to watch even pursuing a lost cause. Play as well or better against Bradford and the game is winnable.
@steelviking I think pascal is just reiterating what everyone is thinking and is hopeful we can find the extra players we desperately need.

Take away the first twenty minutes and it was a decent performance, edge no full back though that’s for sure
Widnes actually won the last hour of the match 28-16 and played a lot of good rugby, the 2 wingers actually got some passes, something that hasn’t happened for a while.
By no means a disaster and by no means a terrible scoreline- points difference isn't horrific and that still could be important.
