After reading the latest explanation it still sounds over complicated to me, getting 2500-3000 people into a 13500 capacity stadium is do-able
Watching wire last night, their 4,000 attendance filled their stadium more than our 4,000 would and looked more attractive opening 4 stands.
for food for thought if and when we eventually open the stadium up with restrictions free.
Perhaps instead of going to all the trouble of taking alternative rows of seats out and all the end of row seats in the North and West stands, we should take ALL the seats out, then everyone can stand together, like they did at Warrington last night, and we can have a lot more people attending, and we won’t have to pick were your going to sit, you can just book a ticket and stand anywhere.
1. Never going to happen
2. Who's going to pay for the seats to be taken out and safety barriers to be installed??

I think Farnworth Viking was joking.
I went to Swinton last night as I just wanted to go to a match. Sit where you want but advice and guidance to sit in your social bubble which most people appeared to do. Terracing open ditto advice to stand in your social bubble. Tape to ensure people did not stand directly behind the dugout.
Track and Trace info to be supplied on ticket purchase and advice on travel to the game.
Sensible regulations which allowed both home, away and neutral fans to attend in a perfectly safe way.
Lets be frank the regulations to be enforced at the Halton Stadium are a complete and utter joke and will not be any safer than the regulations at Swinton. With Swinton's having the advantage of allowing the fans who want to attend to attend.
Is there anyone more conscious of "H&S" and blame culture than councils though?
They produce courses on how to safely make a cup of tea, or to change a light bulb so of course they're going to take the mickey with whatever rules they make up relating to crowds.
Certainly seems that it's been overcomplicated in comparison to others.
Lots of single seats available when I booked my tickets, which is a consequence of giving choice.
If the East Stand is out of action, surely the council should come out to the council tax payers of the borough and explain exactly why?
I’m not blaming the club entirely, but something doesn’t sit right with this scenario. The club on one hand are saying they want as many fans in as possible, but were unable, yet the council have been completely silent on the matter. Something off the council wouldn’t go amiss.
to much faffing about, i'll just watch it online
the east stand is prob still being used as a vaccination hub 7 days a week (not the actual stand but that area of the ground)

Yes I was, but it does seem stupid that if we wanted, and could afford it, we could do that and get a bigger crowd in who were less safe, than they would be sitting 1-2 metres apart sitting down.
Like someone else has said, I think this is the council’s Health and Safety that’s to blame.
… “too much faffing about, I’ll just watch it online” …
Think I’ll do the same Glynn and hope that the arrangements will improve/change after this week experience.
Glynn - don’t fancy waiting for
It’s a shame that people who are able to go are refusing, when others who want to go can’t.
It’s faff but I’ll still be there. With plenty of supplies if I have to be there at 1.10 👍🏻

I'd pop your compass in for repair. Glynn. Vaccinations take place in the West Stand, table tennis centre.
Paulie xx
correct paulie i realized that and was gonna delete but you beat me to posting lol
No one has to be there at 1.10. Earliest anyone is required to be in is 1.30 which granted is still very early. The club has posted the entry times for each stand on the official site.
