Quite agree. As Paulie Walnuts commented earlier, Evans ought not to have left Whitehaven in the first place - unless of course it was for the money!

He would rather drop a level, on good money, get some wins and then achieve a return to where he left! 

Evans picked up an injury in pre-season and lost his place to Edge. Maybe that had something to do with it. But given he's come back to England to sign for Whitehaven again, he didn't give it much time to see if he could settle in at Widnes.
