What is going on or rather not going on within Widnes Vikings club? It is now nearing noon on Tuesday & there is still no report of the game v Whithaven on the club site under the news section. This really is not good enough. This is not the way to generate interest in the club within the town. I would have thought the club would be doing everything in it's power to generate more interest with the floating & possible new supporters. This relatively new attitude of delaying such posts shows apathy & an amateurish approach within the club itself. It is no way for a club of our standing to behave.
It's shocking, What is more shocking is how little the club powers value it.
The main man has updated his and the clubs LinkedIn though.
It’s the Twitter commentary that does my nut in. If I couldn’t make a game I enjoyed following play by play on there. Recently you get an update if there is a try and then nothing for 10 minutes of no one scores. It’s mad frustrating
It's atrocious. What is put out (usually only 'Squad for Sunday', Today's 17) is usually grammatically dreadful. I think the Media Man is having trouble with his comma & full-stop keys. Maybe a trip to PC World is needed, and while they are there, ask the shop assistant to Google search for 3 Prop forwards. Can't do any worse than the WVRLFC Director of Rugby.

Whilst it doesn't look great how many non-fans do you think look at the website? Do you think it would generate much/any interest if they had someone on there almost F.T updating it regularly?
The sole purpose of the league express is to talk about rugby. It's literally the only job it has. WV clearly have lots of issues, not least with sorting the squad out on the pitch.
Seems like a bit of an overreaction on here, even if the lack of updates could irritate people slightly.

The point really is - how many FANS look at the website? Lots of us do - like me - who don't use social media.
Do I feel disgruntled about the lack of information on the club website - YES I DO.
There is still has been no official announcement on the club site of the players that have left the club.
That is also appalling as the information has been known for weeks now and still nothing official from the club.
@sandgroper I want the club to tell me what I already know but I know for a fact that they will never do it.
Firstly I would like them to admit the major cock up with the town crest and secondly where my season ticket is. The Lady in the shop couldn't tell me as they never reached the shop for collection. Why are defending the club ?. We was told at the fans meeting that social media and fan engagement was important to the IMG plan but the club seems to be not arsed about this or the dismal squad they have assembled.
