Lyons made the scapegoat despite those on a lot more money playing worse.

can’t be just the Dewsbury game. Lyons has been shite for weeks.

year after year he proves not good enough minus 1 or 2 good games per year which came at the start of this season for him

Well barring a Newcastle style collapse, they are doing what we asked of them. It seems they are much more dominant than in that game anyway! Need to kick on and post a big score.

Lyons is a back up halfback who did ok filling in early on in the season. If he sticks to kicks and distribution he generally does OK and some of his mis passes, brought several tries, where things tend to come unstuck is when he tries to take the line on, as I cant recall that coming off this season! I guess every halfback worth his salt has got to have that in his locker, so it does limit what he can offer.

You would struggle to see a softer conceded try than that. We need to respond quickly.

Why are we incapable of playing for 80 mins?

Reason I banged the drum for loan players. Got that extra quality training full time too. Halfback loan signing and a big forward that has energy next signing please.

Lovely day and to top it all, we deserve to win despite a few patchy spells.

Comfortable victory, but we are being helped by a dubious referee decision that reduced Swindon to 12

Comfortable, convincing win and a positive reaction from Sunday. Still concerning 15 minute patch where the score was reduced from 24 to 10 against a 2-5 team

Barring a couple of tries conceded where our goal line defence was really poor that was good performance. Eckersley is clearly a quality prospect, if we could manage to get the loan extended for the season that would be a bonus. Now we need to back it up with a convincing display against Barrow.

Apparently the sin bin was for contact with the referee.

No complaints, you were by far the better side, and ruthlessly exposed our dropped balls and poor tackling.

You can't give a team a 24-0 start (when you were up with the clock) and expect anything other than a stuffing.

We briefly threatened at 24-16, but you soon put paid to any hopes we had of making a comeback, and that interception try right on the hooter summed our afternoon up to a tee!

Sheff away in front of the cameras on Monday week is next up for us, but meantime..........

Well done today!

Spelly.
