Brierley to the 'Yeds. The Knights have already signed Vaughan from Wire for next term, and it looks like Regan Grace is (re)switching codes, and joining him in the Minster city, so.................

Do these clubs already know they're in the new fourteen team SL, even though nowt's been officially announced?

I've mentioned previously in this thread that I reckon York will get the nod to dine at the top table, but......

Brierley is (in my opinion) too good a player to be plying his talents with tier two football, so.....

Will BP be welcoming the likes of Pies, the Robins, and FC in 2026?

Sure I read 1 of the journo's (Shaw maybe) posting that Salford didn't have coach travel sorted as they owe a company thousands, and that their kit was stuck in a laundrette for the same reason.

Not sure how true it is, but sounds like Salford will not only be getting relegated, but might go bust completely which may alter the structure slightly yet again.

1) I read that too mate.

2) If that transpires, it'd leave twenty clubs below SL, so...........

One regionalised division with ten teams in each, meaning an eighteen (league) games season?  But.....

WTF will we know summat concrete as to what's happening next term and onwards?

It's looking likely that Salford won't exist soon so that's 3 teams to go up. Got to be Oldham and York the way they're recruiting, Bradford as well probably. Not sure what happens if Toulouse throw a spanner in the works and win the Championship. But if I was a betting man, it would be the former 3.

It's also looking like SL's plan is to cut the Championship adrift. The comments about 'leaving the championship with a settled structure' sounds like a cut-and-run.

It's only my opinion / prediction (and I've been wrong many times before) but I just can't see Olympique missing out on being in SL next term, to replace the Pinks, which'd.................

Leave any two from three of the Knights, 'Yeds, and Bulls joining 'em to make up the new format of fourteen.

Who'll miss out?

Interesting times await!

If Oldham get in it’s even more ridiculous than it sounds
