Sadly inevitable, we need to get someone in ASAP, with such an inexperienced backroom staff we don't really have anyone to take over at the moment.

Who's on the list, and who would you choose?

Sadly had to happen, although I’m not sure it will be make that much difference. The players just aren’t good enough.

Anthony Murray at North Wales would be worth looking at, along with those mentioned above

Please not John Kear, may as well bring Dougie back if that is the route you want to go down.

James Webster, John Duffy, Andrew Henderson are 3 decent shouts. I know we will not have big money to spend but at the end of the day we are a part time club who train a couple of times a week and play at the weekend.

There are only so many head coach roles in rugby league so maybe if a coach wants the chance to make a name for himself and to use us a a stepping stone they will be prepared to work for the money on offer.

In some ways I feel a little sorry for him. We started off the season like a house on fire then the injuries occurred and even the loans became a joke with the Salford duo and Dixon injuring himself. But he cant and shouldn't shoulder the blame himself the board too need to hang their head in shame with our squad numbers being as low as they are. Myself i would let Beswick and Smith caretaker for a while and appoint the RIGHT GUY this time based on ability not cheapness!!!!

Wardy has he got a gig. Wish we got Jason Demetriou a few years ago. 🤣🥖🥖 Joking a side someone who has done quite well in coaching with some experience. So a few from above mentioned and I use to like Kear, but feel passed it now. A friend mentioned Kevin Brown, but I feel inexperienced though, but knows his crunchie.

I would like to see John Duffy be given a go with you, as he lost his job at Leigh because the squad wasn't nowhere near good enough for SL.

Had to happen sooner rather than later. It's not personal but a coach takes on the job knowing full well the buck stops with him.Injuries haven't helped of course but Barrow beat us here before the the injury crisis kicked in.A coach has to play the hand he is dealt and get the best from what he has. That hasn't happened.Apart from results the recent gate numbers will have been a factor too. From 3600 home fans to 2200,within weeks.

He’s not had much luck with injuries but ultimately it’s a result business and six defeats on the bounce (four of them heavy) speaks for itself. Good luck to him, we now have to get the next appointment right and try and start winning some games.

Good luck to him firstly.

Secondly, there is no obvious favourite, Duffy and Webster have both played here and have experience at this level.

Henderson if he could be enticed would be a good shout, but perhaps Bradford would be after him too?

At least some action has been taken, would preferably like to hear from the Chairman rather than the CEO who is implicated in the failure of the recruitment too.
