Sheffields attendance felt less like a mini bus and more a 7 seater car.

thought there was only one fan there for a short period until they sang together

The problem is that as the RFL/SL want more TV cash they also urge fans to watch on TV (at a cost!). There is, on NewsNow, a detailed thread on how to get all matches on you TV!!!!

That is shooting ourselves in the foot! At some point the game is going to have to decide whether it it just wants to produce a TV sideshow or promote a live attendance that pays its way.

My own view is that Sky will make the decision for us by not renegotiating a contract when it suits them. Then we will have a major upset with the RFL/SL caught on the wrong foot.

The biggest half a dozen clubs will then decide for us just how the game goes!!!!

The problem is the North Stand people don't want to be penned in and unable to sit together there was 8 of us who stopped going and all long standing fans including myself for nearly 60 years. I know quite a few more who don't go anymore for that reason. Didn't realise how easy it is to get used to Sundays without going to a game. Penny pinching has backfired all due to the zero transparency from the club.

I don't know how a club can manage to lose 40/50% support over two years but hats off,Widnes did it somehow.Die hard fans too, not fair weather glory hunters.People watching second division rugby in February.Stalwarts.

Great to see how this post on a good win against a difficult bogey team has turned into the standard digging at the club.

Typical 🤣

Because of the daft closing of each side of the north I was stuck in the wind and rain on Sunday with my mate because I didn’t get there early enough

Guess what? I just fudging got on with it because it was my fault I got there at the time I did instead of getting there slightly earlier to get a seat I wanted… because I want to support my club and go the games

its actually pathetic

@scouseviking55 I agree about the thread been turned around mate, unfortunately it does happen. I can't accept that if people got there early you could sit where you wanted. If all 2000 people got to the ground early and all rushed to the seats, someone would still be sat in the rain!

Apparently it's the council who decide on which blocks are open, based on cost of stewarding the crowd. If this is the case it's them not the club who should have the ire.

It seems they can find over £25 million for a new leisure centre but not a few hundred for some stewards.
