He might be helpful in signing an Aussie player
I remember club mentioning an Aussie investor and hopefully that Middle East person next. I know the Twinnys well from playing rugby as a kid and has a good heart and passion, but possibly he was too forward. I do hope Twinny comes back too in some capacity because the work he did with the business club has to be commended. The same with Kev Buck he did great work in the community and we all need to come together to make this club great again and work as a team. Anyway at least some positivity. 😎 🙂
Intriguing and something different to have an Australian perspective. As always with a new board member, the key question is does he have significant money that he is prepared to invest in the club?

Hang on ,where do they think they are going to go for equal or more money?
With London out of this league ,who of the clubs left is going to sign them on any better or equal terms...............
I do think they will have to maybe have to settle for less.....there is not enough money there for the Championship to carry on with the overheads as of now
Interesting comments here - so if the salary cap comes in, which I think it already has, which team will have the biggest salary cap ?
but of course teams that have signed players on longer contract make those salaries exempt !
we are not in that boat but expect Oldham are so their salary cap will not be the same as the other clubs

@7-vikingnomad we’ve done the same for Connell and JJ to be fair mate 2 year deals so there was some exemption for them I think
@pauliewalnuts think we ll end up with a 20 man squad and loans to top up we wont be able to run the amount of players we have now
can't see it helping as teams will look for ways around it likes of Donny or sheff with small crowds but big wages have to find ways around it or drop to foot of table and Newcastle.... don't know where they begin
