@lord-lucan I was going through companies house the other day as I tend to do from time to time to see if any changes are made that aren’t yet public (mainly Widnes based)
I did notice on the new company established by MC and CH that MC had resigned from it just after Xmas, wonder if this is to do with what your saying regarding the RFL being cautious?
I also hope you guys make the starting line

** Yeah, you're right mate! On Christmas Eve, according to the Companies House 'site, Mark Campbell resigned, and a certain person who went to POR from Oldham via NP, is now registered as a director, instead of secretary. Odd goings on at Fev.
Spelly.
@7-vikingnomad Salford have said a new coach will be announced tomorrow, the 5th of Jan.
Yes that's exactly what it's about. I think it's all about finding something that's acceptable to the RFL. In this situation I don't actually envy them, they have to balance due diligence with keeping the club alive.
By the way, if anyone thinks working out who Fev's owners are is tricky....has anyone worked out who Newcastle's owners are now? Companies house still has the 2 chaps listed who were the previous owners when they were the lowest-funded team in league 1 fielding basically amateur/academy players, but to all intents and purposes Newcastle appear now to be owned by York who are running the Newcastle club as their reserve team in 2026...hence the handful of good-quality York players already announced by Newcastle (with more to follow apparently) and huge signings like King Vuniyayaywa who could easily play SL -and of course might as he's effectively a York player too. The "two" clubs even train together at York.
Massive integrity implications for both SL and Championship, but this move has been greeted with absolute silence!
Prob one of the game's worst kept secrets, but Mike Grady now confirmed as head coach at the Pinks.
Spelly.
