With the rumoured salary cap dispensation helping the top SL clubs sending players to the three promoted side's recruiting may be more difficult in Widnes signing loan and dual reg players.
I'm not suggesting he would be instead of the props/second rows/wingers we need - but as well as.
We may have two hookers - what if one gets injured?

@sunny maybe if we hadn't signed both Gregson and Hall. Abdull could have played loose forward and Mellor stand off. Our budget for players is already too small. It would make no sense to sign a 4th half back or a 3rd hooker when the only specialist props in the squad are Chapelhow and Murray. Even trying to play Bent and Mcquirter in the front row we need 2 more props in the squad at least. The fact he's 34 won't have helped, maybe we thought Abdull was the better option being 29.

And also, Dual Reg is a thing of the past. You can loan players from any club. If said player has played for you 4 times during the season, he can play for you after the transfer deadline/play-offs etc.

I have just got a completed run down from my friend and to be fair very positive. Hopefully Mike Parsons does a Podcast as the Bibby signing another Prop and 26 is the number i was thinking realistically.It was also interesting about the investors and if had 700k now we would be a Super League team now. Looking at Australia and Saudi for big bucks and the community work and more WVIPS members seems a plan. Loan definitely the best way as this dual registration is rubbish, and Stuart Murphy complimentary on the Council. There is talk about the pitch and definitely very interesting with talks of hybrid or possibly grass.
