We don't need to spend the money as we have him on dual reg anyway until someone else signs him. He can sit on his Wire contract and play for us. Then sign for someone else once his contract expires. Even Warrington with all their resource have struggled to get a forward in, so much so they landed on Latu.
One option on loan could be Kyle Amour at Saints? They will probably want to keep him in case they pick up a lot of injuries so a loan to the Championship rather than a SL rival could be an option? They did it with Douglas to Leigh last year. He's not getting a look in for the 17 at the moment and at his age he will want to be playing.
Also Mamo and Patton and back in the Wire squad for Friday's game against Cas. I assume that's because Cross and Smith only had minor injuries so are now ready to return for us? Interestingly Robson has been left out, hopefully that's because we have said we want to keep him, for me he's a very good back rower, but is behind the likes of Davies and Burrell in the Wire squad so we could get a lot of use out of him this year.
