Overseas signing

Does everyone now think the idea of an overseas signing is a dead duck? Yep I think we'd all like a decent one, be they hard running second row, lively halfback or centre/wing, but I guess even a Queensland Cup level player is going to need a decent financial inducement to come over, preferably someone with a heritage UK passport? I was a big fan of Ralph, the Wales halfback in previous World Cups, not sure he had quite the same impact this time around, not sure who else might be a realistic option? Now all the second/third tier nations are out of it, is there anyone in the departing squads who we could get, or is it just the case that we are spent up and go with what we have?

I heard, from a fairly unreliable source, we were talking to a Fijian centre.

Are we saying this conversation never happened then?

Chris Price said at the fans night tonight, there are no further signings planned, but if a good player became available, they could sign them.

I don't know if it did or didn't. My unreliable source said it did.
