The next home game is to be streamed apparently
Just goes to show how small time the sport of RL actually is when £1.5 m per year is seen as big money.
True, but the point is Sky has reduced the funding amount and people aren’t allowed in to the games so what are the clubs supposed to do to cover the Sky shortfall and the lack of match day revenue ….. the thought that springs to mind in this conversation is streaming and – has been said – at match entry prices if they think they can get away with it. Perhaps I’m being too cynical but do Sky have a stake in any of the streaming companies ?
In terms if Widnes, im not sure that we've managed to fill all of the available seats since paying spectators have been allowed. Maybe streaming the games isn't doing us much good (I don't have the stats for this though). I think that increasing the cost of ourleague subscription has to increase in order to push people either way and to increase much needed revenue.
Think it’s a bit strange the club haven’t advertised that away tickets are on sale.
It’s a massive game in our season

They have done today, should have been announced on Monday when they went on sale on the Fax site.

Or people could have looked at the Halifax website - just saying.

Yep I got mine on earlier in the week, you know what some Widnes fans are like, they want a personal invite from the club.
