I am pretty sure whitebank is an all weather pitch like ours so hopefully game will go ahead

Oldham play on a Non League Football Ground with an artificial pitch so should be ok....
I'd play Owens and Gilmore 1st half, then maybe try Lyons and Gilmore 2nd half: it's what friendlies are for.

Donkey I think Craven out for 4 to 6 weeks. The way Craven keeps getting injured we may need a new halfback to pair Gilmore. Try Owens first half and Lyons second half a good plan. Personally I feel we should have got another halfback with experience, especially because can't rely on Craven to be durable for the season. Got plenty of wingers and props, so possibly send one on loan to free up money. Fired up to smash my baguettes 🥖🥖🥖🔥🔥
Yep if craven is out for up to 6 weeks we need to look at all options, as we could be without him for first 3 league games. doubt we could get a loan player in this early in season.
