Tony it was awful and not many will go if play crunchie like this again. If not good enough then who recruited these players? Finnigan should be shot at to be honest as terrible recruitment again.

Its been like that for weeks now, no creativity, a negative defensive line where we concede territory to maintain line intergrity, which is usually a decision based on lack of conditioning, Which means we get dominated in field position.
And things dont look like getting better any time soon, i wont be at Fev next week since i have a son playing rugby in Leigh and then one playing american football in Chorley. And given the option of watching them for the price of some Petrol, or traveling to fev to pay £40ish for tickets plus petrol to watch Widnes get 50 put on them, with a small hope that Lawton might do something to give me a rye smile at some point in the last 15 minutes. Its a no brainer
If that makes me a bad supporter then so be it. Been through many a bad time watching Widnes, And im sure i will be through many more. But sometimes you just have to make the best decision for yourself, And i will still happily Boo and defend others right to do so.
widnes ran on to the wrong end after half time lol, when they got it right my mate shouted your playing that way and smith shouted shut up and drink your beer, thats how bad we are they deserve booing and no one turning up

Well I have played the game and OK would not boo jeer etc............BUT ...don`t have a go at those who do..................the problem has gone on for so long now.
Today as last game and many before just boring.............we just don`t know how to score.
Same errors by same players time and time again................
When is someone going to say to Tyrer-if you do another silly offload in your own 20 I will not pick you again....
Lawton if you cannot keep hold of the ball we can do without you...not to mention missed tackles and head tackles...
....................could go on thru the lot of them

In all my years watching our team everything is down to culture snd motivation
The culture in the club is historical and not of the present, and motivation is created from within
This group of players are top 4 contenders but without the right culture, commitment, passion, they are nothing

What I’m not impressed by are the stories I’ve heard how at full-time some North Stand fans were very abusive towards Matty Smith whilst he was giving photos and selfies to kids, causing kids and mums to be upset. Let’s not make a bad situation worse eh?
When everyone-one left the field at half time, I thought the booing was against the so-called referee - Bent Haler.
Mind you, tried as he did he didn't cost us the game.

I was always told at school never to boo. I was told it showed disrespect for yourself and the intended recipient.
The only time I ever boo is when I'm at the pantomime and the villain walks on.
I think the players know how bad it was so not sure what booing achieves, do you think it inspires the team. Would you boo your kids if they fail an exam?
Either way, do as you please, it's your money.

As i said i wasnt there today, but Booing is fine, abuse is not.
I look at it this way. Lyons is a Poor rugby player, maybe NCL standard at best. but its not his fault he is playing for Widnes, if i was offered a contract by Widnes i would snap their hands off, it would be living my dream. But ultimately, im garbage at Rugby and i would be a massive failure, But im not to blame for signing that contract, its the numpty who offered it to me thats in the wrong. Same with Tilleke.
Im sure they are trying, but they dont have the required ability at this level. So i can Boo, i can Boo the club, the coach or the team if i feel effort is lacking. Not Booing would send the message that i support what the club is doing. The only other option is not attending anymore, and thats far more Damaging to the club than Booing will ever be.
