I left with ten minutes to go mainly because my grandson was so upset. It was dreadful and I shouted that to the team and I know they heard me!!! We lacked any kind of attacking prowess, our movement forward was weak and lame and we stood still while they ran at us and made double the yardage we did in five tackles and also they refused to be tackled. In over sixty years of watching Widnes I think today hit a new low for me, it really really got to me, especially when you think of the support and money we have compared to other Championship sides. I don’t want to take anything away from Batley but they are a team we should at least be competing against similar to York and Newcastle. Widnes at the moment they don’t deserve my money and they certainly don’t deserve my support.

Same here mate it hurts like hell.. glad my daughter couldn't make it today to witness that shambles.. the club is broken and shot.. and the only people to sort it out are staying silence. Utterly utterly depressing.
I couldnt attend today due to other Rugby related options. I could probably have got there had i rushed and put myself under pressure to make the game. But until Craven returns this team does not have a Half, and watching them play is worse than watching some National conference level rugby.
We just dont play good rugby, The atmosphere is flat, the price is not cheap and being involved in the amateur game is more rewarding.
I will still be there most weeks, but This season is a write off.
