@bulls2487

He needs 'fittening up' not 'fattening up!' .

Re Levy, after watching him getting sorted at our expense there is an argument to let him play this week to see how he looks. Would be stupid not to, then he goes elsewhere and murders us!!!!!

Is he fit to play though? I’d agree, nothing to lose by playing him if he is but it seems a bit of a stretch when he hasn’t been named in the squad recently.

Whoever signed Levi needs their head testing, we are not in the position to sign injury prone players.

I think Rhys evans is a possible center signing

@sunny

Not a bad shout Sunny - worth a phone call. He looked promising.

Just seen that!

Plus that Morgan Gannon looks possible for Leigh.

Walker looked a bit oversized on TV, maybe an even better player when he's fit.

He was overweight in all his time at the Bulls.

He has actually put weight on this year

Can't play long minutes either

One I am glad to see the back of at the Bulls

If you sign Rhys Evans he will do well.

Well if he is that crunchie he can do one as I don't want passengers at my club. Levy was bad enough of a signing.

Levy recovered from his original injury but then did his achilles in  training - if you can predict Achilles injuries you could get a job!!!!

@sandgroper if you look at a player’s history and has a long list of injuries then you can say he’s injury prone and not a good investment

I can see that applying to the perennial 'calf-strain' etc but things like ACL's and Achilles are major injuries that can't be predicted imo.

If you think that Jonathan Thurston had both shoulders re-built when he was 19 yrs old would you have signed him? But he turned out OK.

It probably depends on JK's judgement of Levy's character - if he's honest offer him a low priced match by match contract until he's proved himself. Otherwise bin him!

Certainly does! Just got to get names on contracts. The 'big money' rumours usually applies to SL stars dropping down but no names yet.

The prop squad seems to be shaping up which augurs well and JK seems really enthusiastic about our young developing players which is encouraging. Props generally can be in the 30's and that's fine but a decent mix of age and experience in the backs is a must too!

JK is a canny beast and we don't know what he has eyes on in the WC/Welsh squads.

I thought that Patton had quite a big suspension after his gouging charge?

@sandgroper yes I’m sure he’ll have a couple of players in mind from the World Cup for next season and money talks so if we have it players will come

The commentary on the Bradford game mentions that Mike Ward, Batley prop, is on his way to us. Mentioned before on here that their pack was basically just well drilled, solid and effective at Championship level and he was/is a mainstay.

Along with Hatton etc our pack starts to look sizeable.

@sandgroper Is Ward the one with a Pony tail?, not seen Hatton so cant comment on him.  Ward looks half decent though.
