From John Kear's interview, Tyrer is injured and not available for this game.

I like tyrer but I think for us to improve we need to be looking at 2 big hard running centers.

I’m hoping for a win whilst on the tv and a good one to finish the season on a positive

Halifax are where we want to be next year IMO, you've seen how they have built up the squad again after a season in 2019 where they finished 8th, looking like back to back Top 3 finishes: without a lot of £££.

Surely that is something we can aim to emulate?

As for the game on Monday, we have beaten them twice in a row and narrowly lost the game away at the Shay last season, I expect a competitive game: if we play like we did against Featherstone I think we will win.

No team announcement yet again?
fleming is probably better than Tyrer  and I suspect we will not see Tyrer in a Widnes shirt again

he has done well for us and I wish him well

It was actually announced yesterday, but strangely on Twitter not the club website. Roberts and Lawton in, instead of Tyrer and Hulme.

Tyrer has said he’s not been contacted yet about a new contract

A strong squad, Roberts in for Tyrer at centre and then Lawton into the pack, I think 1 forward to miss out from last week, but not sure who.

A fairly decent squad so I think we will just about squeeze a win.

With tickets at only a fiver,  let’s hope we have a good attendance for the telly audience to see.

Yes, strange that the club chooses to announce a match-day squad on Twitter rather than it's own website.

Not everyone twitters!!!!

Come on, Club, put important information on your own website which everyone reads...Don't ignore those fans who choose not to twitter 😫

Halifax are a better side and deserve to be in the lead. On the other hand we don’t deserve to be nilled despite far too many hurried and sloppy passes
