Right scrap on for play off spots. Two points behind Batley and level with Toulouse, Fax and Bradford. The four point gap between the top seven and bottom seven is going to take a bit of bridging and I can't see any obvious contenders from the bottom half who will make a run for the playoffs. We have a decent opportunity to consolidate and improve our position in June.

London (H)

Whitehaven (A)

Barrow (A)

Swinton (H)

We really should be looking to win all four games. I think Barrow away will be toughest, their recent form suggests that they are a better side than their league position suggests and they game Bradford a good hiding up there a few weeks ago. All winnable though.

London will be a tough game they look like they are improving all the time and have added a couple of high quality players to their ranks.

We can't take any team lightly in this league. Newcastle took Sheffield close the other day, but if we keep Gilmore fit we can definitely win them all. 🥖🥖🥖💪👍 Anyone know how long Craven is out for?

Out for the season according to JK. Got to question his future seasons tbh., he's not getting tougher!!

Start looking now for a good durable replacement. Maybe an NRL Championship equivalent?

We need to boost the VIP's funding but it's hard with the cost of living as it is!!!

I would go as far to say if we lose any of the next 4 games we will find it very hard to make the top 6 playoffs.

Minimum of 3 wins, but we should be winning 4 if we’re serious about play offs.

London is a potential tricky game, got some decent players on their day. Norman is suspended, so won’t play.

Should be no excuses over the back to back Cumbria trips. We’re clearly better than them and should be winning them.

We can't afford to be getting into a position where we have to win at the likes of Toulouse or Featherstone to compensate for defeats at bottom 4 teams.

I'm hoping a couple of quality signings can be arranged for the rest of the season, we've seen before when we have been in this league a mid-season signing or two make a big difference (Moran, Hall and Penny e.g.).

Article today suggests Corey Norman is banned until late June so won’t play against us next week. Every cloud…

Sandgroper I would get rid of Craven next year unless does a pay as he plays deal. Really like Craven, but unfortunately made of biscuits, as aged. We need at least 1 quality halfback that is durable. Personally glad Fozard is durable at hooker and we can't afford players in pivotal positions to be not playing.

@pascal I have heard that DC is retiring at the end of the season, he will be missed if only for his "show and go".   We have to get for this season or have another half lined up for either the end of the season or 2024.

Not sure that spending on a 'play sometimer' is good business tbh.

I suggested that maybe a second level Aussie half back might be an option but there aren't that many within our price range maybe and there aren't that many UK Cravens out there who are tough enough to be regular.

Much of our strength atm is our Vikings spine knowing each other. An 'old fashioned' pack that is solid and tough laying the ground for Gilly and co. could take us a long way, but it is finding and assembling that pack!!!

Halifax lost narrowly at Toulouse, Bradford's PD is poor, a win tomorrow is essential; we would go up a couple of places. No more motivation should be needed.
