On the reserve hookers, probably fair to say SF isn't trusting of either of Hulme or Gregory. Hulme I thought did fine last season, Gregory didn't play well against Barrow but not the only one there.
Agree that the completion rate isn't the be all and end all but a low one shows that we are error ridden as well as lacking quality in attack.
Think it is obvious that Lyons and Smith can't play together as an effective partnership.

Completion rates are important. If we only achieve 55% against Leigh we will concede 40 points, plus, because they have players who can create and can score points. If we don't have them returning the ball from their own 20 at the end of our six tackles, they will run amok. Defending against Leigh will be a lot tougher than defending against a limited Newcastle attack.
