No Craven Dupree brown or Grady
Someone told me Craven has done his crucial ligament and is out for the season, hope that isn’t right.
Gonna be *another* hard day at the office I reckon…
Looking at Newcastles squad we should be putting a cricket score on them.. They are missing alot of their decent players for this game.
Widnes by at least 20
Hope SF learns from the York game and we have Hulme on the bench as an interchange for Fozard.
Interesting to see how Wells and Addy integrate and also need to use Lawton's size more in attack.
Think it will be fairly close myself: just look at this time last year.
@brenjm They have got Halsall, O'Neill & Miski from Wigan though. We'll miss Dupree & Craven badly.
O'Neill was really good for us last year...
@cj91 yes better than Fozzard for me. He has been very disappointing so far.
I think Fozard is a bit like the team generally: started off well but not as well more recently.
I honestly believe that is because he is being targeted by other teams when they attack, tiring him out: exacerbated by not running with a reserve hooker in some games.
Think you are right about fozzard, he was clearly targeted in the York game and when we were in possession he was going through the motions with little effect.
hopefully hulme will be on the bench, assuming spedding,Roby and else miss out - not sure who the fourth one will be, probably bent, who I thought went well last time - both Salford players will probably be in the line up - thoughts ?
I would start with Roby at full back, he has been playing really well there in Owens absence, and play Owns at stand off. Then we could have Hulme on the bench to give fozzard a rest.
The two loaners might just swing it our way

Agreed about Fozzard, think he's a decent player.
Not too sure that Spedding and/or Roby will miss out.
The opposition targeting fozzard is smart tactics
we need to start playing smarter and playing to our strengths rather than trying to match bigger packs
hopefully the loanee’s will play well and make a difference, s Alford have picked up some injuries but have 2 weeks off so keeping them for longer is doubtful
@mckeeverviking
We have plenty of experienced kickers and we should use them. So many games these days are won on kicks, as was ours at Dewsbury!
I would guess that Addy at loose forward and Wells to replace Bent. The work rate of Brown and Bent will have to be covered but we should have a bit more oomph in the middle.
@sandgroper he has a few options with these 2
addy could spell at 6/7/9
Wells could be used as a prop
