The club have announced that the new sponsorship by Apparel and Debeau is the largest of its kind in the club’s history.

But what does “Of its kind” mean? Does it mean money wise or something else?

Perhaps you know Pauli, or could you find out?

Apparently Leigh Leopards have a 3 year deal with them as well that was announced in late October. They are a new firm & are supplying Leigh with alll their training & playing kit. Ptesumably our deal will be similar so probably not much finance coming our way from it rather us paying them?

If that’s true, how is it the best deal in the clubs history?

When they use words like record, landmark and largest agreement of it’s time you’d hope it was a positive thing.

Not overly impressed with getting in bed with decker Beaumont but let’s hope for some nice gear

It might help us get some good loan players from Leigh during the season. Can’t be can’t worse than our time with Warrington .

By the sound of it they are looking at our supporter numbers as prospective customers which good for them and us as we must get a piece of the sales.

Quite probable that other SL clubs are already signed up with kit companies.

Ellgren were a nightmare supplier (not saying their product was poor), and they missed a lot of the deadlines, eg; the 2001 retro shirt was months late.

I suppose, though don't know for sure, as a new kit supplier (as far as I know just Leigh & Widnes), Derek will be trying to impress other Clubs, so I'd expect it to be decent quality.

All will be revealed on Monday Night.

@pauliewalnuts Do you know why “its  the largest deal of all time “ for Widnes Pauli?

Or are the deals a secret?

@farnworth-viking Haven't a clue, Mate. We have a Viking Fan Ambassador meeting at 6, so I will see if I can glean any kit details and then post them here. There will be no previews on the design, and you've all seen the new club crest.

No figures re; money kick back for the kit, although TH did intimate the price is good, and it's sourced locally, as it's made in the Leigh area. So replenishment of stock, if required isn't damaging the Clubs carbon footprint. Sherlock did emphasise that the shirts look better on the players than the graphics on his laptop.

@pauliewalnuts Have you seen the kit then. I thought it was made using suppliers based in Asia.

We will get a percentage margin on sales but any reason why its the biggest in the clubs history? Are they giving us some money as the first pro sports club other than Leigh to use them? Help with brand awareness?
