Just checked and no sale yet, shuddersfield confirmed they will be in the Huddersfield stadium next year

however, the shay now has a new synthetic pitch funded largely by the FA to allow more use of the pitch, Davy commented on how good this was

He still has his application in to buy the shay

Apologies it’s a hybrid synthetic pitch, largely financed by the football foundation with contributions from the council, Halifax town and Halifax rl ( that was the washer for the tap)

Would you drive down from Cumbria two nights a week for training, then for captain's run on Saturday and a game on Sunday?

Train Saturday mornings at 8am, at the stadium, which becomes the Captain's Run when the games start.

Paulie xx

Train 2 hours Tuesday and Thursday then Saturday morning. Sunday is basically a full day even for home games. If you have a full time job and a family thats some commitment. You can see the issue for Yorkshire or Cumbria part time players signing for us.

I think this is why trying to set up a pathway for youngsters to play for us if not quite good enough for Super league. We need a few Jack Owens, Lawton and Gilmore type of players in the future. Obviously we would love big investors and Super League, but for now just be competitive and get the best players we can in the area.
