@cj91

Could depend on where they will actually come from. Brexit is still interfering with deliveries from Europe.

Surprised if O'Neils will entertain us.

For Me Oxen have been poor all the shirts they’ve produced for us apart from the 3rd Shirt last season have been boring…Would love us to move to back to Umbro,They seem to be producing jerseys for a lot of RU Clubs at the moment

I’d like a black and white hooped shirt with the town crest on - I’m old and would like to see something traditional.

I think I said before last season that I find it odd that people talk about ‘pride in the shirt’ when we have three different shirts every season which change at the end of every season. Which shirt are we supposed to have pride in ? Just saying …

We had a pure regular hooped one the season before last. Such a shame we hardly played in it. Can't keep having the same design though.

Players are supposed to have pride in the shirt that represents Widnes Vikings (their employers). Shouldn't matter about the design or colour.

Why not 'bin off' Black & White for a season or so, do something radical, and innovative.

I've put on my tin helmet, fire away.

What is traditional though?  Every time this comes up, there is a push for the return to the hoops.  I'm 62 and my memory is of the old mainly all white with black trim shirts from Adidas and Umbro.  I still think they're a great classic design.  I do remember the hoops, but it was a long time ago.  We have had some really nice, non-hoop, designs over the years.

I was told at the shop today that the shirts are on their way, and should be in stock in the next 7-10 days. It’s strange we haven’t seen a picture of what they are going to look like, seeing as they have been made and are on their way.

Sponsorship issues of some description maybe? Just an idea as surely you would want a good 6 weeks to Xmas for advertising.

I'm not overly bothered about hoops or white, either is fine, but would like to see the old club/town crest back as opposed to the meaningless viking logo thing.

I would like to see our name, Widnes Vikings, in larger letters on the shirts, unless you are familiar with the club shirt and colours anyone from out of town would struggle to see which teams shirt you are wearing

@robbo Traditional is what they wore from the turn of the 20th century until Vinty changed the kit when he became coach. I started watching in the late 50’s and remember it.

Tradition is was has ebbed away in the game since it became, and I use the term humorously, “professional”.
