Are we actually looking for a new coach with any urgency whatsoever?

It's been nearly 2 weeks since the departure of Kear now....

Maybe the new coach will be announced on the comedy night....be in keeping!!

Come on CJ, you should be well aware of the WV script:

CH to shortly put out a release suggesting we've had more applicants than Love Island, he's busy working night & day sifting through applications from Austalia, NZ, Papua New Guinea, Cook Islands, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Lebanon, Cleck Heaton & Ramsbottom

Busy working in The Cookhouse beer garden Friday tea-time, as he's entitled too.

It will be an update via a LinkedIn post under the how much he "Loves Rugby League" and bottom line will be Belshaw is keeping it until end of the season as we are not being relegated. Wins v Keighley and Haven will put that to bed and  Littler will finish his push at Oldham to see if he can promote them but either way will end up here.

@eddieo57 Sounds about right. No chance of the play offs, relegation unlikely.Another season writen off.We must be the only club to start pre season preparations in July, every year.

No rushing into anything keep Belshaw as coach if he wants it.

There'll be less pressure on him than on a big name

So it looks as though we’ll go with belshaw until the end of the season

On a different subject I’d look at this lad for next season

If there are some decent applicants, there is no reason why they should not make an appointment. This would at least give the new coach the chance to assess the current squad and to influence who we retain and sign for next season.

it’s funny that it was only last week, allowing a PE teacher to take over as coach was an example of the amateur way the Club was run and the holiday camp atmosphere; and also proof that we are skint and this would be just another money saving exercise.

I guess Hamilton and the Directors can bask in the comfort of this win, but no doubt the usual suspects will only be sharpening their knives just waiting for the next defeat.

Well I was at Pinkies before the game and my mate Ratboy gave me the motivation to go last night. Well he seems to have good connections at the club and at least some light at the end of the tunnel. Personally I hope for a halfback coach or someone who like the players to play off the cuff rugby for entertainment. Edge has to stay at fullback and the coach an upcoming aussie one, Duffy, Marshall or possibly Smith? Whoever takes the post we need to back them. On a positive go see Halifax and Bradford forums for a laugh they are just as bad. 😂😂💪👍🥖🥖🥖🇫🇷🇫🇷
