I cannot make it unfortunately. Could someone who is going raise WVIPs. I know the club is separate from it but they should be making a statement saying how vital it has been & will continue to be in creating more funds for future player recruitment. There are only 152 members now whereas the previous one had over 1,000 at one stage. I think it would be helpful if they periodically put a statement / plea out & one now is absolutely necessary to try & increase membership as it is the only realistic way we are going to get more/ better players in the future. If the club say they cannot do this as a separate entity ask why they cannot allow WVIPs to post a statement on the club site themselves. After all they have a representative at club meetings I believe.
Hopefully someone on here is going mate. Personally if want a higher grade for IMG then this WVIPS members at least needs to attract 500 members to help improve our squad of players. Stronger squad and players means higher up the table and fan base. 💪👍
Anyone on here going tomorrow?? Updates would be very useful and appreciated?
It doesn't seem anyone on here going? It is mainly the moaners who should go so they can put there points across to the board? A good number 6 and 2 big back rowers be nice now.
I have my tickets and I’m suppose to be going with my wife but she is full of a cold at the moment so maybe not. If I do I will update later tonight.👍

Good lad it might be a chance for some of the moaners to ask some questions here that are constructive. If get a chance it might be good for the club to have events like this once every 2 months. Questions on twitter, Facebook etc so they can pick a few on the night which might help the club progress. Selling WVIPS has to be a way of raising money and how to entice more people to join. £5 a month is not too bad if can't afford too much.
It is not rocket science but more funds for the club means a better budget for a decent squad. We start winning then more come games and possibly members for WVIPS. All about team work and communication to thrive.
A good turnout for the evening introduced by our Chairman Stuart and Chris H. An overview of the year is that we are in exactly the position we wanted to be in with the plan for moving forward at the blueprint stage. Chris introduced Joy a new director and asked everyone to spread the word regarding WVIPS as representing a way forward to fund players salaries (okGeoff) IMG 10.17/20 obviously a good grade and working towards a better one for the end of 2024 season,
performance 1.72/5. (23rd of all clubs) Fandom (3.3/5 better than some SL)
Finances 2.25/4.5. Stadium 1.9/3. Communication1.0/2.5
10.17/20
league structure for next year will not change and no official start date yet to season which could start with 1895 cup.
This is an ambitious club and There WILL be a difference next season
AND and announcement will be made soon regarding the Academy in the next few weeks.
Alan Coleman talks a good talk, got impression that the eight contracted for next year he is not happy with but promises if a player doesn’t perform he won’t play!!!
AND We WILL compete next year.👍👍
Cant remember any more, check James’ tweets for a comprehensive rundown
Love to know the 8 contracted players he didn't want to be honest. Jack Owens and Fleming are 2 I can think of straight away. Well up to them now to fight for a place and prove him wrong. I like the sound of if not playing well they won't play. Good relationship with Saints, Wigan and Warrington. Just shows previous coaches didn't because got nobody from Saints or Wire.
There will have to be a settling in period, as with any new boss, while they get to know each other. That's normal, but he sounds like he has nailed his colours to the mast and it's up to the players to match him.
Good news re an Academy, maybe a better relationship with the local amateur sides.
We lost out on a higher score due to the latest Census figure. Halton total population is about 128k, IIRC we missed out by a few hundred. Some fans intimated that we don't (or can't) make more of being part of the Liverpool Metropolitan Region, but Saints do. Maybe we can rope in the Belle Vale area to pump up our 'Fandom' (the new buzz word), I'm sure we have fans/lapsed fans in Frodsham, Helsby etc. The Census only happens every 10 years, so maybe we have more than 130k population now?

Fleming wasn't on contract, he's re-signed since Coleman was appointed.
The eight were: Owens, Gilmore, Johnstone, Walker, Dixon, Field, Tilleke, Edge.
Coleman mentioned he liked the outside backs we had last season, so suggests he's fine with Edge and Dixon.
Maybe he sees Owens as part of the Craven/Lawton/Farnworth type dynamic. Johnstone was shipped out last season which suggests he might not be in favour (and perhaps an outlier in terms of salary/budget).
If I was a betting man I'd say Owens ..walker.. possibly tilleke

Cheers for the clarification James. I am surprised Gilmore, Edge and Dixon not in his thoughts, especially as Dixon and Edge stood out in a average side. The others I can sort of understand though.
Positive meeting and I think this members night might change a few people's minds. If this is not monthly, I feel a good idea every 3 months to have communicatiin with fans. Great updates on your twitter and hopefully more join WVIPS after this meeting and season ticket sales.
