One small advantage of Lawton is that he at least knows our plays and might respond to being back 'home'.

I agree Lloyd needs a rest but he will have one next week with no game?

1.Maizen 2. Towse 3.Max Roberts 4.Edge 5. Williams 6.Owens 7.Gilmore 8.Murray 9.Foz 10.Thomas 11.lloyd 12.Langtree 13.Mcwhirter 14.JJ 15 Lawton 16.Bennion 17. Kirk

My feeling Gregson will be at 13. Lyons at 6 and Owens at 3. Personally I am not a fan of Lyons and I would try Owens at 6. Max Roberts is very good in the centres, but I have a feeling he be on the bench to cover centre or back row, depending on injuries in the game if happens. Very versatile Max Roberts but for me one of our best players when fit.

@pascal

agree about roberts - a very versatile player, but I assume ac will play gregson in front of him - I do not know what he brings to the party, never makes a break and his tackling leaves a lot to be desired

also I think Lawton will be on the bench for sure

I think Max has earnt his spot in the 17 if fit. Versatility that isn’t common and energy efforts

Owens at 6. I really don’t understand it myself. Each of our stand-off options

Patton - has the organisation and eye but not the speed or legs for a running HB

Lyons - has the legs but lacks the skill and it’s very lightweight

owens - has a skill factor with ball in hand but not the legs he once had

not a great predicament to be in but on paper any of those 3 playing should have enough to beat a weak London side

AC has chosen to switch things up and hopefully it works. I have purchased the stream and looking forward to the game

we might see some good combinations with Owens and maizen

to all the traveling fans I hope you have a great weekend in London

I think it's just time for a change we haven't scored enough points all season Lyons had many chances and never really taken them ,Owens isn't the answer but for short term worth another go

Ideally we would have a running number 6 half back. But I am happy that Max Roberts is playing in the centre which I feel is his best position even though versatile. I knew Gregson would play 13 even though I am not a fan of him. But for me the team overall I am happy who is picked and Owens at 6 is worth a shot at to be honest. Probably I agree, because I am not a fan of Lyons.

Well interesting selections, we know Jack will go ok, but needs maizen running off him , or towse

good to see roberts in the line up

surprised McWhirter at prop ? The only back up prop is bennion

no surprise gregson at 13- I hope he proves me wrong but I think he brings nothing to the party I would rather have bent - rarely misses a tackle

also Kirk binned ? Is he the next one out of the door before our big signing (Kev sinfield apparantly )

Well, 6-6 at HT. Listening to the radio, we seem to be doing everything but score.

Dominating but no idea in their 20, good defence but again silly mistakes and pens that let them off or give them field position

@johnnyboy exactly what i was going to post. 2 poor sides playing in an empty stadium. Terrible standard of RL.
