I didn't think he gave a penalty even if he did then this happend after the hooter sounded.

Why isn't the scoreboard clock stopped as the ref stops the game, there is a timekeeper so why? We used to also have the smaller clock in the East stand that never works now.

@mt Good point MT. When a team knock on near the end of a half then very often the attacking team will rush to form a scrum and having done so the referee will stop the clock,  so when a drop out is conceeded should the referee stop the clock once the attacking team get back onside?

As I said earlier we could not go as we were away for the weekend, so I was made up when it was out on Widnes TV last night. However, all of the first half is there (bad as it is) and less than 10 mins of the second half!!!!!! What a load of plonkers, someone wants sacking for that 😂😂😂😂

Does this mean if you hit someone after the hooter has gone you can’t be penalised ?

I agree the clock should be stopped when the ref stops it, shouldn’t be hard

Once time is called and the ball is no longer in play then is no penalty can be given thought that would be obvious but you can still get carded for a violation after time is called.

The smaller clock was provided by Super League, which was hooked up to the timekeeper. I don't think there's ever been a hook up to scoreboards at any Championship games, presumably because everyone is working off different technology which is why in SL it's standardised.
