Joey Lyons.
As we know, some posters on here love to give it to Joey, but last night I thought he was excellent, and led the Youngsters with aplomb. It's been a difficult season for JL, with injuries and our other Halves playing well, but last night he took his chance, and we nearly pulled off a shock win.

I can not comment as was not at the game and to be honest I have never been a Joe Lyons fan or Gregson. I know they all give there best, but I just think there is better players at the top level we want to be in the Championship. I always want every player to do well but unfortunanetly does not happen for everyone. Glad he played well and fair play to the lad I only wish him the best mate. I know he has another year contract but I feel Gilmore and Jack Hansen will be first choice next year. Suppose Lyons is quite versatile to play hooker, fullback and halfback. The hookers we have are 2 of the best in the league or near to the best in the league. At fullback we have quality in Connell, but may be this could be a position to contest, or cover for injury if occurs. Any youngsters stand out as heard great things on Zak Bennett, and I rate that Sergent already which I think both will be in our squad next season.
On a positive I love the way Alan Coleman is giving a pathway for youngsters and mentioned Wigan of the Championship. Obviously I hope a rich owner comes along and we get a shot at Super League but at least makes easier if top end Championship every season.
