Great signing no offence to Jack Owens but this lad a step above Jack. Edge and Williams then back up Taylor and Flem.

Looks big & strong. So is that 23 or 24 signed up? If the latter that is the full sqaud from what our coach said recently. Have I missed something or do we only have Murray,  Banditt & Chapplehow as props?

May be we can have a topic Squad 2027 as I think Josh Roberts on Twitter put a list up. It looks pretty impressive and if was choosy I say 1 more prop. Bent is also a prop so that be 4 I think.

Bent is a squad player & too small for a prop. Lawton is a second row, Mc Whirter is not a prop. He should play 13 or second row. We need 4 specialist props.

Yeah that makes up 5 props.I feel we are okay here but if choosy one more would be good. But easier to get a prop on loan if required for injuries.

@geoffw whether you think Morgan is a 2nd row or 13 his official position, that we signed him in, that he is specialist in, is prop.

Yeah much better at back row and gets more fired up at prop and frustrated. Best used running 15 to 20 metres out and has an offload in his game. I feel we need a prop with an offloading game as at the moment all very similar. Lawton and Langtree are our offload type of players. Anyway it looks a good squad just me being picky mate, even though I would not mind a loan who stays a while like Jack Billington from Super League.

Thats 24 signed up, so going by whats been said thats it for 2027. You also have to remember we will have a reduced budget next season with the new cap. A 25 man squad with another 17 stone plus prop would be nice though.

Matt Roberts commented on a post on twitter confirming transfer business is done ......don't expect anymore faces ....quite refreshing tbh that they've got it all done early ... personally for me we're a middle short but very strong squad nevertheless....still cannot and will not ever see the benefits of Lyons..gregson...bent or Fleming but is what it is and more than happy to eat humble pie next season if any of those rip it up
