I may of been inclined to give Jack Houghton another year. He wasn't expensive, and he shown up well at the latter end of the season when he got more game time. That said, he may not want to be 5th/6th choice in the Middles. I hope he gets a gig elsewhere.

Seems like good business seeing as Hull KR are also buying players from the Australian 2nd tier. Two this week.
Matt Roberts commented on a post on twitter confirming transfer business is done ......don't expect anymore faces ....quite refreshing tbh that they've got it all done early ... personally for me we're a middle short but very strong squad nevertheless....still cannot and will not ever see the benefits of Lyons..gregson...bent or Fleming but is what it is and more than happy to eat humble pie next season if any of those rip it up
Your not on your own thinking this mate and they are the only 4 players I am not a fan of to be honest. But we are on a cap and I presume they will be low paid players. Lyons can cover fullback, halfback and hooker. Flem centre, wing, fullback and these probably cover injuries and cheap. Bent works hard and tackle all day but not a blockbusting prop. Gregson I do not see any purpose in my opinion but again very cheap?
On the whole satisfied with the squad and we can always get a prop on loan during the season from Super League, and good news not over reliant on dual players.
@pauliewalnuts believe he's Swinton or Rochdale bound if I remember correctly....agree I'd have kept him aswel
